Build your squad! Manage your base! Defeat crazied robots!


Reminiscent from old-school UFO: Enemy Unkown, I’ve approached this project in a more modern but similar flavored gameplay. While at the moment there is no final game objective, it’s intended to be a full feature and maybe release it to Steam or GOG.

In “Base Mode” you can manage and customize your squad, research new technologies, build or buy new exciting items and balance your finances.

In “Combat Mode”, the selected squad engages in a scifi urban environment an opposing squad. Gameplay is turn-based, une turn for each squad. Each unit can use up to two actions, which include moving, shooting or using items.

Game data saving integrated for research trees and units/unit customization

In-game console w/commands allows for easy debugging and tests

Base Mode, current features

  • Editor reseach node tree, mantaining or modifying it’s as easy as connect or edit nodes
  • Research tree allows to create or buy new technologies for your base or squad
  • In-game variable day duration speed
  • Unit customization includes hair meshes, colors, and different suits based on your research
  • Save data for units and research trees

Combat Mode, current features

  • Turn-based combat mode
  • Each unit has diverse range of actions, including but not limited to move, shoot o use items
  • GOAP-based AI for enemy units
  • “Hit” chance calculation based on environment, weapon, distance and unit skill
  • Destructible environment
  • Dynamic cover calculation
  • Amazing movement limit, target and shooting visuals!!

Planned features

  • Full economy system, based on income and combat results
  • Special and unique skills for every unit (i.e. Sharpshooter’s Aimed Shoot)
  • Semi-procedural terrain generation
  • Base building
